Harps Unlimited International was proud to present as its Inaugural
Concert a solo recital by German, prize-winning harpist Mahalia Kelz, who
was recently appointed the new principal harpist of the Basel, Switzerland
orchestra. Sponsored by Harps Unlimited International and
CAMAC Harps,
Mahalia presented 4 masterclasses together with her recital featuring
Russian and contemporary Swiss compositions for the harp. The exciting and
extremely well-received recital, performed on a CAMAC Atlantide Prestige
and a CAMAC Clio, was followed by a reception, hosted by the Connecticut
Chapter of the American Harp Society
and featured an exposition of harps available from Harps Unlimited International.
